I just laughed for 2.27 minutes straight... 2.21 during this video, and about 6 seconds after it finished...
The Gunn Report, the "only independent report on creativity for the advertising world," has just released its 2009 results. Saatchi & Saatchi in New York won in the commercial category for the Crest "You Can Say Anything with a Smile" TV campaign.
The Gunn Report collates international advertising award results and produce a series of tables listing the biggest winners in each medium, as well as the agencies, countries and advertisers who performed best in awards over the course of the past year (via Creative Review).
If you haven't already seen these spots, you must check this out!
My fav is the last spot - effing hilarious.
This year, for the first time ever, the Report includes an "All Guns Blazing" table, covering Integrated and Innovative awards globally. First up in this category was the infamous Whopper Sacrifice campaign by Crispin Porter, which ironically was removed by Facebook because it violated it's protocol of not alerting friends when they've been removed. The application was wildly successful for the week it was live, boasting 82,000 users and more than 230,000 friends.
