HP Invent

The D&AD is an educational charity that represents the global creative, design and advertising communities.  Their Student Awards challenge students to respond to live open client briefs, which in many cases can launch careers (the 2010 briefs are available here).

This is a nice response by Kingston University's Matt Robinson and Tom Wrigglesworth to HP's brief, which was to, "present an idea which promotes HP Workstations ability to bring to life anything the creative mind can conceive."

In this execution the printers become "an orchestra in a symphony conducted by HP Workstation... we have created a film that uses the power and performance of the HP Workstations to choreograph a visual spectacle that is designed to work as a viral video promoting HP Workstations and their ability to bring people's ideas to life".

Enjoy.
