“I’m sorry, we could have stopped catastrophic climate change… We didn’t”

COP15 - Sarkozy

COP 15 - Obama

COP 15 - TuskCOP15 - Zapatero

Today begins the United Nations Climate Change Conference (#COP15) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Greenpeace commissioned Arc Communications UK to create these ads, which picture world leaders [Sarkozy (FR), Merkel (Ger), Obama (USA), Tusk (PO), Lula (Br), Zapatero (Es), Brown (UK) and Harper (Can)] in 2020, apologizing for not having done enough to stop the climate change.

The ads are placed in Copenhagen airport.  I find them very powerful - hopefully our leaders do too.

Learn more about COP15 here.
